As the Catalan crisis continues to unfold, Madrid has gone flag crazy. One month on, residents in almost every street are still flying Spanish flags from their balconies.

And apart from Catalonia dominating the news coverage, life pretty much continues on as normal. But I can't help seeing each flag as tacit support for the government's actions on the 1st October.
